Join us for three nights & two full days of Yoga & Fitness to recharge, relax & renew before the summer. We are all in need of a break from our lockdown routine which seems to have been never ending this year. This retreat is the perfect little break to reconnect to yourself but also to gently ease back into a sense of community, sharing & connection with a group of like-minded people.
Nothing fancy here, just a nice location set in the beautiful nature around the Setúbal region (which offers some of the most beautiful natural landscape in Portugal and close to the ocean!), in an elegant, comfortable villa, delicious fresh vegetarian meals and daily power & gentle Yoga classes, meditations & guided runs/walks. Our aim with this retreat is for you to reconnect to YOU, to your own needs and your natural rythme.
WHY YOGA & FITNESS?
With the summer months arriving, we wanted to offer you a chance to reconnect to your body & gently get back into a healthy movement routine. Some of us have created healthier habits this year but a lot of us also have lost touch with our personal practice & our healthy routine and that's totally ok! However, we now need to open our minds & hearts to a brighter, happier future and it all starts from within, it starts right here.
Joséphine, your Yoga teacher, is passionate about movement & well-being. Her teaching style ranges from dynamic creative flows to restorative meditative practices. She will lead the morning Power flows to get us sweaty, stronger & energised and the evening gentle classes to guide us into a more soothing, gentle & introspective energy. This way we can work on balancing out our Yang & Yin energies, to help us feel more connected & in harmony with ourselves.
Célio's expertise and knowledge as a pro athlete & biomechanics specialist will bring a more detailed fitness-oriented approach to the group. He will lead us through classes to educate us on good posture, correct movement & training tips to help us move better & regain a sense of confidence in the way we move, train & feel overall.
A TYPICAL DAY
7:00 - sunrise meditation & morning run/walk
8:30 - breakfast
10:30 - 90' power yoga
13:00 - lunch
14:00-17:00 - free time/workshops
17:30 - 90' gentle yoga & meditation
20:00 - dinner
All activities are optional, we want you to listen to your bodies & join in as you wish.
All meals served are vegetarian, please do let us know in advance of any food allergies or intolerances so we can plan accordingly.
Included in the price are: Friday evening dinner, 4 meals on Saturday & Sunday and Monday breakfast.
Please arrive anytime between 15:00-18:00 on Friday, June 11th. Departures are before 11:00 on Monday, June 14th morning.
Transfers to and from Lisbon are not included in the price. The Villa is located 45mins from Lisbon, we recommend that you come by car, rentals in Portugal are very affordable. Make sure you arrange this before arrival, contact us if you need any guidance.
